Alkenyl succinic anhydride (ASA) is efficient reactive sizing agent with high activity, it is easy to form ester bond between ASA and hydroxyl groups of cellulose fiber, and curing treatment is not necessary. Due to the low friction coefficient of ASA, slipping problem can be avoid, and suitable for high speed paper machine. It is especially suitable for the heavy sizing paper based on waste paper, with small system influence factors and low sizing cost
